Law Enforcement
KDWP Natural Resource Officers and all other law enforcement officers have the authority to stop and board any vessel in order to check for compliance with federal and state law.

KDWP Officers are responsible for patrolling the waters of Kansas, conducting boat accident investigations, boat safety inspections, Boating Under the Influence (BUI) checks, safety programs, education classes and many other boating related activities.
